When I was on a month-to-month contract with T-Mobile they treated me like royalty. Always helpful and understanding. What a difference a two-year contract makes! I had a problem with my phone which was under warranty, but they still charged me $15 to replace. Then they replaced my rebate form and blamed me, out another $50. On top of that I bought some software to hook my phone up to the computer that has no directions and nobody at T-Mobile understands it, but a refund is out of the question. All-in-all I am out around $120, not to mention being locked into the contract. To add insult to injury, when I call them, somehow I get put on hold forever instead of prompt service like before. I thought I was being paranoid, but after speaking with two other people, both of them experienced the same thing (I know it is not a large sample, but 100% is compelling).
Bottom line:
never sign a contract with T-Mobile. In other news, I've been really busy getting things done before my vacation to the boundary waters next week. Don't expect much here for at least 2 weeks.
