Not just 5 minutes ago I was listening to those dope Cubs TV announcers, and they were all like

"Carlos Zambrano is unhittable tonight. With this kindof a shift I don't see why Ken Griffey Jr. doesn't just bunt for a single."

Maybe because Griffey has more than 500 home runs in his career and Zambrano is a 3-2 pitcher, ya think? By the middle of his sentence the ball was on Waveland avenue. I think the 1 - 0 lead will hold up. I might be wrong, but probably not.

P.S. I just emailed Hawk and DJ about whether anybody has ever been stupid enough to try that. Tune in all week to see if they answer my question.
