Knuckleball: Pitch of the Common Man

I think the reason everyone loves the knuckleball is because there is a voice in the back of your mind saying "I could do that." You can close your eyes and for a moment really believe you could pitch in the big leagues. Charle Haeger came up from triple-A to start in the place of Jose Contreras who has lower back stiffness. He was less than marvelous, giving up 5 runs in 4.1 innings. Then when I looked at the radar, I see he is throwing his knuckle ball in the low 70s. That's my fastball.
