So True

The batboy for the Marlins was suspended for 6 games for accepting a dare from the opposing pitcher. Brad Penny of the LA Dogers offered the batboy $500 if he could drink a gallon of milk in under an hour and not throw up. (side note: this is next to impossible b/c milk expands in your stomach. In my farternity days I saw many attepts and no successes). Anyway, the boy couldn't complete the milk and failed the dare (it was not even a bet). He did not throw up. After hearing he had been suspended for 6 games Penny offered this
It's kind of ridiculous that you get a 10-game suspension for steroids and a six-game suspension for milk.

I'd like to see a poll of how many fans would like to lift the prohibition against steroids in sports.

Here are two articles discussing some USA Today/CNN/Gallop polls

What players think

What fans think

The overwhelming majority of fans and players think performance enhancing drugs are a problem. Something that is usualt left out of the discussion is that most players thik it is a problem. Since the health risks are just as documented as the improved performance, players who abuse drugs are creating an unsafe working environment for other players. It baffles me to this day why the players union doesn't realize this.
